How a WordPress engineer from Port Harcourt ended up running a document platform, an AI tool, and an agency at once.

I started building on the web in 2009. Everything since has been learned by shipping, first through client work, then through products of my own.

In December 2013 I founded Shabtech, a WordPress design and development agency. Fifteen plus years later it's still running, and it's taught me more about real business problems than any product I've built myself, because client work doesn't let you hide from what actually breaks.

Alongside the agency, I co-founded UsefulPDF, an eSigning and document generation platform built on simple templates. It got acquired by Bonsai Technology. That chapter is also the reason DoxFlowy exists. UsefulPDF handed users templates but not control. DoxFlowy, which I co-founded and now run as CEO since February 2023, was built to hand that control back.

I also co-founded DocsGenie, a document generation product that's live today, with a new version in the works built to compete directly with tools like eForms and TemplateLegal. And I co-founded HumanizeAI, which rewrites AI generated text so it reads naturally, for content creators, marketers, and professionals who need a consistent voice at volume.

These days AI is part of how I build all of it, across products and content, alongside the same hands on approach that's run through everything since 2009.
